Tokyo Cultural Event - Feb. 26, 2024

Please join us for a 4 hour tour of Tokyo on Monday, Feb. 26, 2024! This event is open to all Working Group participants. During the tour we will take a boat ride along the Sumida River and explore one of Tokyo's most iconic neighborhoods, Asakusa, where we will visit the historic Senso-ji Temple and explore the vibrant Nakamise shopping street. After visiting the temple and doing some shopping, we will enjoy a relaxing bus ride back to the hotel. Please see the full itinerary below. We hope you can join us for this exciting event!

Seats for this events are limited to 48 and tickets will be on the first come first serve basis, so please reserve yours today! Please print your ticket and bring it with you to the event. Only people with tickets will be able to board the bus. If we are sold out, there is still a chance that you will be able to attend if we have any no shows, so you are welcome to come to the lobby and see if we have any available seats left. 

Cultural Event Itinerary

14:45     Gather in the Lobby of Prince Hotel and board the bus

15:15    Boat ride from Hinode peer to Asakusa (45min) 

16:00     Arrive in Asakusa. Guided tour of Senso-ji Temple, then exploring the vibrant Nakamise shopping street, including visiting Japanese traditional goods shops

18:00     Board the bus

18:45     Return to Prince Hotel
